The Need
Managers in the Commercial team in London had been promoted from within the team and the MD contacted us to see how we could help them build up their capabilities and confidence in effectively leading their teams.
Hustle House Solution
We designed a modular, blended programme including practical workshops, coaching circles and a dedicated online resource centre for self-study, focusing on core leadership topics including giving feedback, flexing style and coaching. This was supplemented by coaching for the senior leaders of the team to ensure they were able to support their team in applying their learning.
Outcomes
- Increased the confidence and capability of the participants to lead their teams more effectively, particularly through change and uncertainty
- Established a collaborative leadership community within the Commercial team
- Improved and developed individuals’ listening and questioning capabilities
- Implemented a coaching mindset to increase accountability in the department
